We're the co-founders of OBLIQ, the software development brand of AR Media Solutions, based in Lugano, Switzerland. We build custom applications, connected workflows, and practical tools for companies that need software shaped around the way they already work.
StuDivo is our own product, and it started the way our client projects usually do, with a process that took far longer than it should. Language teachers spend hours finding texts, writing exercises, and adapting everything to a student's level, then walk into the lesson hoping the material lands.
So we built what we would have built for a client, and kept it. Preparation in minutes, the lesson live, and the teacher in charge of both.

Why we built StuDivo
We want to give teachers their preparation time back, without taking away control of what goes in front of the class.
Finding the right text, building the right exercises and adapting everything to the student's level takes hours before a single word is spoken in the lesson. Necessary work, but almost none of it is teaching.
StuDivo takes the drafting. You choose the language, the topic, and the level. What comes back is a full lesson, with reading, exercises and flashcards, ready to review, edit, and teach. An evening of preparation becomes a few minutes, and the hour it frees goes back into the lesson itself.
How we build it
The same principles run through everything OBLIQ builds, and StuDivo is no exception.
The software drafts, a person decides. StuDivo generates the material, the teacher reviews it, changes what doesn't fit, and leads the class. We're wary of software that asks you to trust output nobody in the room can check, so nothing reaches a student before a teacher has seen it.
We build around the way the work happens. A lesson isn't a document. It's an hour with people in it. That's why StuDivo doesn't stop at generation: live rooms, exercises students answer as the lesson moves, progress you can see while it happens.
And we keep what we ship. The two of us built StuDivo and the two of us run it. Same two email addresses, no account manager in between.
