A Weekend in London
Last summer, Kate and her brother Tom decided to spend a weekend in London. They booked a small hotel near the city centre and arrived on Friday evening.
On Saturday morning, they woke up early and took the underground to Tower Bridge. Kate loved the view of the river Thames and took many photos. Her brother was more interested in history, so they also visited the Tower of London, where the famous Crown Jewels are kept.
In the afternoon, they walked along the South Bank and stopped at a cosy café for lunch. Kate ordered a sandwich and a cup of tea, while Tom chose a full English breakfast — even though it was already two o'clock! They laughed and talked for a long time, watching the boats on the Thames.
On Sunday, they explored Camden Market, where they bought souvenirs and tasted street food from different countries. It was a wonderful trip that they will never forget.
